The WR-AR2317 54M Wireless AP Client Router provides 3 operation modes for multi-user to access the Internet: AP Client Router mode, AP Router mode and Bridge Mode. In AP Client Router mode, you can access the Internet wirelessly with the support of a WISP. In AP Router mode, it can access the Internet via a Cable/DSL Modem, while bridging mode allows two or more wireless access points (APs) to communicate with each for the purpose of joining multiple LANs .
Compatible ISPs: Virgin Media, NTL, Cable, Telewest, AOL Cable & MY NOW. It can also be connected to Ethernet ADSL Modem to provide connection to multiple computers, devices.
Compatible operating systems: Support all operating systems such as Windows like 95, 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, NT, XP, VISTA, Apple Mac all versions, Linux all version, Dos.
Sharing a single Internet connection: It allows you to share your single internet connection, without the need of leaving any computer on all the time.
Play Online games: It allows you to play online game via your Game devices such as PSP, PS2, PS3, Nintendo DS Lite Wii, Xbox 360 & Live.
Print Wirelessly and share a printer: It allows you to print and share wirelessly on a wireless printer. If the printer is not wireless but connected to a computer and that computer is connected to this router wirelessly or wired it still allow you to share that printer.
Share and Back files: It allow you share and back files wirelessly and wired on devices connected to the router directly via wireless or wired directly or indirectly.

WDS: Easily connect this to another router offering the WDS features to extend your range even further. WISP feature will let you connect this router to Wireless Internet Service provider in your area.
VPN: VPN Feature supports VPN pass-through for sensitive data secure transmission.
Security keep Hackers away: Multiple protection ways. In AP Router Mode, it can be set to turn off the wireless network name (SSID) broadcast so that only stations that have the SSID can be connected. The router provides wireless LAN 64/128/152-bit WEP encryption security, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authentication, as well as TKIP/AES encryption security. It also supports VPN pass-through for sensitive data secure transmission.
The WR-AR2317 54M Wireless AP Client Router complies with IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b standards so that the data transmission rate is up to 54Mbps. It adopts 2x to 3x eXtended Range™ WLAN data transmission technology so that the transmission distance could be up to 855.36 meters, which is 2-3 times of traditional IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b solutions. The transmission range is extended to 4-9 times. It is compatible with all IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b products.
The WR-AR2317 54M Wireless AP Client Router provides flexible access control in AP Router mode so that network administrators can establish restricted access policies for Users/staff. It has built-in NAT and DHCP server supporting static IP address distributing. It also supports Virtual Server and DMZ host for Port Triggering needs, and remote management and log so that network administrators can manage and monitor the network in real time.
